Why should I join?

1. You have lots of things you Wanto do, but you don't actually get them done.
Wanto is the kick you so desperately need. It forces you to state your goals, commit to a deadline and share them with friends. You're much less likely to disappoint your friends than yourself.

2. You don't have any goals.
Here's what you should do: sign up, enter a goal "To find at least one real goal", give yourself a week to come up with something, brainstorm and reach out to friends for ideas. It'll come to you.

3. You have a goal but could use some advice from others who have already achieved it (or who are on their way to do so).
Enter your goal, click on "Discover" and find other people with similar goals. You can even find people in your own town to collaborate with.

4. You generally achieve your goals but would like to have more fun in the process.
Everything is better with your friends!

5. You would like to meet people with similar interests in your town.
Wanto helps you discover new friends with same goals as you, across the globe or in your neighborhood.

6. You are a sociologist, or you would just like to better understand people's motivations.
You'll see what people Wanto do across the globe or in your town, what goals are more popular among women and men, and different age groups.

How does Wanto work?

Just follow these 5 steps:

1. Register (you can do it via Facebook or Twitter)

2. Think of 3 things you Wanto do (What are you main goals for this week, this month? For your job or hobbies? Where do you Wanto go? Who do you Wanto meet? Check out the Facts page for some inspiration from our users)

3. Connect with your Facebook and Twitter friends on Wanto, so you can help each other

4. Enter your goals and ask your friends for help

5. Sit back and watch your goals magically reach themselves. Just kidding. You actually have to work on them, but Wanto and your friends will help you get there!

Why do you need my age, location and gender?

We ask you to provide your date of birth so we can provide you with better access to connections and content.

We ask for your location to connect you with other people in your town.Wanto is about reaching goals with old and new friends, and friends are much easier to make if they live nearby.

We ask for your gender so we can show you interesting statistics on what types of goals are more popular with men vs. women (Do men really just wanto play video games and women go shopping?)

All statistical data related to gender, age and location is anonymized. At a later date you will be able to hide this information from your profile, though use of this information will continue to be governed by our Privacy Policy.
